Product and Prospect Data Disclosure
Version: 2026-10-08 · Product: SIP (Sales Intelligence & Personalization)
Please read this disclosure before using SIP. It is part of our Terms of Service and explains how SIP works, what it can and cannot do, and what we expect of you when you research a Prospect.
1. How a dossier is made
- You submit a Prospect's public LinkedIn profile URL, what you sell and, optionally, your company website and context notes.
- SIP collects publicly available information about the Prospect and their company through third-party public-data and web-collection providers.
- AI models analyze that information together with your inputs.
- SIP produces a dossier (Buyer Persona, Market Intelligence Report and Strategies) in your account, with a confidence score, and makes related tools available, such as the Live Battle Card, Pre-Meeting Role Play and Debrief.
2. What a dossier may include
- Company and person profiles drawn from public pages and directories
- Technology, hiring and company-news signals
- Competitive landscape hypotheses
- Communication-style inferences (for example, DiSC-style framing)
- Suggested talking points, questions, objection handling and role-play scenarios
- If you turn on optional Deep Scan: public social posts (for example on X), additional public LinkedIn content, and excerpts of public YouTube or podcast transcripts
SIP uses only publicly available information and what you provide. It does not log in to private social media accounts or read private messages to build a dossier.
3. What SIP is not
- Not a consumer reporting agency, background check or licensed investigative service, and not a source of information for decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing, education or government benefits
- Not a psychological assessment. Communication-style insights are hypotheses for conversation preparation, not facts about a person
- Not a guarantee of accuracy, completeness or fit for a particular deal
- Not a substitute for legal, compliance or HR advice
- Not permission to violate LinkedIn's, a website's or any other third party's terms of use. SIP is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn
- Not permission to process personal data unlawfully under the CCPA, state privacy laws, the GDPR or any other law
4. Who you can research
SIP is for people who have a scheduled meeting with you or an existing business relationship with you or your organization. Do not use SIP to identify, find or build lists of new leads.
Submit only:
- adults, never anyone you know or believe is under 18
- people located in the United States
- people you have a legitimate business reason to prepare for
If a Prospect asks you to stop researching or contacting them, stop and do not submit them again.
5. Recommended notice for your booking flow
Your own privacy notice should tell Prospects what happens when they book a meeting with you. Add a sentence like this wherever Prospects book meetings with you (your scheduling page, demo-request form or booking confirmation):
When you book a call with us, we may review publicly available professional information (such as your public LinkedIn profile and company website) to prepare for our conversation.
Adapt it to your organization and have your counsel confirm it meets the notice requirements that apply to you. The Terms of Service require that these notices are in place.
6. Call transcripts and recordings
Debrief and Pre-Meeting Role Play can use transcripts or notes from your conversations. Before you record or transcribe a conversation, or upload one to SIP, make sure you have given every notice and obtained every consent the law requires. Several US states require the consent of all participants before a conversation is recorded. Do not upload anything you are not legally allowed to share.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree that:
- You will use SIP only for legitimate professional sales and business development purposes.
- You will follow CAN-SPAM, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state privacy laws and other laws that apply to your outreach.
- You are responsible for how you store, share and act on dossiers. Keep them inside your organization and do not publish them.
- You will not use SIP to discriminate, or to infer or act on anyone's sensitive characteristics, such as health, religion, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity, citizenship or immigration status, or political views.
- You will independently verify important information before relying on it with customers, employers or anyone else.
8. AI and inference
Dossiers are generated by AI models working from public information. They can be wrong, including confusing people who share a name. Confidence scores are estimates. Communication-style insights and strategy suggestions are model-generated hypotheses, not clinical assessments or established facts. Treat them as conversation aids, and never as a basis for decisions about a person.
9. Public beta
SIP is in public beta. Features may change, and we may limit new accounts, use a waitlist or limit usage. Free and paid access are described in the Terms of Service.
